Make Siebel IP15 Patchset 18 work with IE11
Our customer from insurance vertical had to upgrade his production Siebel IP15 Patchset 11 version to Patchset 18. We did in between Open UI Upgrade and the integration with Oracle BIP was not working with PS11. So we were advised to install patchset 18 for our IP15 installation. Our IT Architecture includes exclusively IE11 as a browser. After patching to PS18 and deleting the cache in our IE11 we were observing freeze during startup of our Open UI client. After refresh (F5) the open ui client started properly. When testing the same with Chrome the symptoms were not observed.
