CCW Team attended the european greatest technology conference in Europe and according to Forbes the best technology conference on the planet Websummit 2018 in Lisabon, Portugal.
As CCW is a company focusing on the customer interaction solutions for the large enterprise companies from financial services, telco industry, we were looking for the innovations and solutions which can be deployed for this purpose.
CCW also runs its own cloud base IoT solution for telemetrics of moving vehicles, objects and people http://www.monit7.com, we were looking for innovations in this field.
Websummit 2018 also included startup camps with many startup companies and interesting ideas.
Our eye catched startup from germany Voixen (https://www.voixen.ai/en) which has a cloud based platform which delivers a broad range of advanced technology to improve call quality and customer satisfaction.
Beside many functionalities it can analyse and search within voicefiles from the contact center for given keywords.It deployes AI and give better overview how are the customers happy and served.
The take away messages for our company were in in following areas :
- Tim Berners Lee inventor of the world wide web kicked off the intesive discussed topic about Internet, ethics, humanity, data privacy and politics. This is going to be one of the most important issues in these years.
- Artificial inteligence, machine learning, Internet of things, robotics
- Cloud platform ready to be used for implementation of enterprise IT with the state of the art edge cutting technologies such as ML, AI, IoT, text to speech, cubernetes, scalability and high avalilability
- Microsoft is cathing wind quite well with Google and Amazon AWS
- Cars are becoming computer centers with telemetrics sensor, autonomous driving, in the hardware deployed ML and AI
From the tech innovations we focused mainly on biggest cloud PaaS, SaaS, IaaS providers :
- Amazon with their Amazon web services (AWS)
- Microsoft with Azure, IoT, ML and AI
- Google with Google cloud API
- IBM with Watson and quantum computer
Here are key takeaways from AWS :
- AWS is the world`s largest cloud. It is so big that when we sum all others cloud providers, we get 1/10 of AWS size
- It is a infrastructure. It has a core services. It uses microservices container architecture, event driven architecture.
- it has for everyone services for IoT, ML ready for use.
- AWS has features for analytics, DEV/OPS, mobile services, app services
- it receives innovations and features daily, ready for everyone
- AWS has a serverless (aws lambda) architecture with bring your own code.
- There is avalaible graph database such as used in facebook with GraphQL
- AWS contains complete stack for artificial inteligence and machine learning, amazon polly for tet to speech, face recognition
CCW is also keeping in focus Google cloud which is also growing and is and will be a big player.
- We find very good Google Dialogflow which can be used for building customer interaction applications such as chatbot, IVR etc.
IBM is still big player with Watson and presented quantum computer.
We were pleased to take part in the Websummit 2018 in Lisabon. We deliver IT solutions, which should be democratic, open and such a dynamic and super fast growing industry needs to have such a conference, especially in Europe.
